Though he is encountered on several occasions, there are no set locations where players can go to meet him. Presently there are three opportunities to see the king (other than in cutscenes):

Overlooking the Charr battle behind the wall in pre-Searing Ascalon City. You can only see him from a distance.
Adventuring in Old Ascalon after the Searing. Players will see a short dialogue at the Krytan camp between Prince Rurik and Ambassador Zain. The next time they visit, they will see a confrontation between the King and the Prince about welcoming the ambassador just outside Ascalon City.
Next you see King Adelbern and Prince Rurik having a major argument, in the final cinematic of Nolani Academy in which the king banishes Prince Rurik from Ascalon.
In the Eastern Frontier, but only if the Last Day Dawns quest is active.

Of course, the real answer is 42!

Don't you see him just before you graduate from pre searing though, when you are getting the talk from the prince... It's been a long time since I last did searing, so memory is a bit hazy. But I'll guess, that there are... TWO!

Well my gosh, since I dont see anyone getting it soon. We need to move on.

So the answer is 2 of course. Overlooking the charr battle is true, but I spotted him elsewhere. When your standing in the "lake" in pre ascalon if you get all the way to the edge and look across holding "alt" he appears there as well...not sure why.

At any rate, greyf0x_f0x will be the winner of this one, since he guessed 2!



The next question shall be...

Cynn is a part of a group, what group is she a part of?

This one may be pretty hard.
